What is it??? I am going to guess some sort of crazy israeli weed.

Yes, it’s an Israeli herb (but not weed). It’s Hyssop.

In Israel we were told that it was Hyssop. But after further research, I am 99% sure it is “Sea Squill.”

it is probably a liatris (gayfeather) of some kind.
